Businesses, organizations, and individuals can become members of SBN! Simply fill out our Membership Pledge and watch us grow!
- Business Membership: For businesses that are located on B.I., locally-owned, and independently operated (*see criteria below).
- Affiliate Membership: For businesses that are not locally owned, community members, and other organizations that want to participate in SBN’s educational and networking opportunities.
* Local, independent businesses can answer yes to all of the following questions:
- Is your business privately held; not publically traded?
- Do the business owners with a controlling interest, totaling greater than 50%, live in Kitsap, Jefferson, King, or Pierce County?
- Is your business registered in the state of Washington, with no corporate or national headquarters outside Kitsap Jefferson, King, or Pierce County?
- Do you have full autonomy to make independent decisions regarding your unique business and its purchasing,
operations and distribution, as well as the name and look of your business? - Do you pay all your own marketing, rent and other business expenses (without assistance from, or payment to, a corporate headquarters)?
